The AAML is comprised of the top matrimonial attorneys with only 1,600 members from across the United States. AAML members are recognized as preeminent family practitioners with the highest levels of knowledge, skill, and integrity. In order to be elected to this prestigious organization, each Fellow must successfully complete a rigorous selection process that includes an extensive application, interviews, professional and judicial evaluations, and numerous hours of examination which include both Federal and Virginia law.
