We are honored to share that our founder, Robert E. Shoun (“Bob”), has been posthumously inducted in to the Class of 2021 for the Virginia Lawyers Hall of Fame. The Virginia Lawyers Hall of Fame honors Virginia lawyers age 60 and older and criteria for inclusion in the Hall of Fame include career accomplishments, contributions to the development of the law in Virginia, contributions to the bar and to the commonwealth at large and efforts to improve the quality of justice in Virginia.
Bob incorporated Robert E. Shoun, P.C. on September 23, 1975 and over the past forty-five years, his hard work and dedication to both our firm and the legal community as a whole has been immeasurable. We are honored to be a part of his legacy.
If you were lucky enough to know Bob, you were well aware of his love of sports. While he was never quite athletic enough to be considered for induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame and the ProFootball Hall of Fame, he was a tremendous leader, team player and coach for all of us (and many more) and definitely deserving of a nomination for his work in our legal diamond.
