  • Shounbach Participates In a Comfort Cases Suitcase Drive

Did you know that when children enter the foster care system they often come with little more than the clothes on their backs and when they move from place to place, what few belongings they have are taken with them in trash bags? Comfort Cases takes backpacks/suitcases filled with basic essentials and provides them to children in the foster care system. They also donate cases to homeless shelters and children who have lost their homes and had their belongings destroyed by a natural disaster. The charity went from providing 300 kits in 2013 to donating 7,000 kits last year.

ShounBach is pleased to assist in Comfort Cases’s quest to make sure all children are provided with the essentials they need as they begin their brave journey to find a home. In July, ShounBach will be collecting and filling suitcases and backpacks to donate to Comfort Cases. The firm will be providing more than a dozen packed cases with several of our attorneys and staff members independently donating cases.
