In our continued effort to help out in our community, ShounBach held a “Christmas In July” charity project to provide backpacks to children in the foster care system. We reached out to the organization, Comfort Cases who provides backpacks/suitcases filled with basic essentials and provides them to children in the foster care system. They also donate cases to homeless shelters and children who have lost their homes and had their belongings destroyed by a natural disaster. The charity went from providing 300 kits in 2013 to donating 7,000 kits last year.

We are very excited to announce that in the month of July, the firm, along with our attorneys and staff, were able to donate 25 backpacks, extra supplies to be used for future cases and $100. It was another great success and everyone who participated enjoyed buying and packing a bookbag knowing that it was going to be something that a child, with nothing, could call their very own. The firm is proud of our staff and attorneys for their individual donations, we would not be able to complete the projects we do without their dedication and enthusiasm.
