Shounbach Attorney’s Attend the 35th Annual National Trial Advocacy College

Two of our attorneys, Hayden O. Lee and Sarah J. Knapp, recently attended the 35 ^th Annual National Trial Advocacy College. It was held January 9 through 14 at the University of Virginia School of Law. The main objective of the program was to learn effective advocacy. Hayden and Sarah attended lectures and demonstrations, received extensive training in small groups and performed advocacy skills in a simulated setting. Following the hands-on training Hayden and Sarah were paired in teams to prepare and try a case against another team. The mock trial was before a live jury and an experienced trial judge.
