ShounBach is excited to announce we have once again teamed up with Hendrick Honda and News Channel 8 in their 5th Annual Un-Trim a Tree and Adopt a Child Initiative.
Working with Volunteer Prince William, Hendrick Honda has been able to once again adopt a number of children for this year’s program. Each year school counselors identify families most in need of assistance and the students in those families pick two gifts (within a $50 budget) they would like for Christmas. The siblings of these students also get to pick two gifts, so that all the children in the family will be able to have presents to open on Christmas morning.
ShounBach will adopt 20 children and will be assisting with present delivery and other activities as needed. We are also pleased to announce that our staff and their families have adopted an additional 23 children personally. We are all very excited to be a part of such a great cause and be able to bring some Christmas magic to these children.
Members of the community are invited to get involved as well. There is a tree in the Hendrick Honda Woodbridge showroom with the names of children and their wish list. You can choose a tag off of the tree and then return with the unwrapped gifts.
ShounBach partner, Molly Garrett, appeared on Let’s Talk Live on Friday December 11th, with representatives from Hendrick Honda and Volunteer Prince William to discuss the project and how you can help. Stay tuned! We will be posting pictures as we shop for and distribute the toys to the schools in Prince William.
Molly Garrett joins Hendrick Honda and Volunteer Prince William for a Let’s Talk Live segment to let the community know how they can get involved. Please click the link for more information.
