On your mark, get set, GO!!! On Sunday, April 12, members from the Northern Virginia legal community and the public joined together, donning their favorite hero and villain costumes, to participate in the annual Heroes vs. Villains Run for Justice 5k. Over 500 runners and 50 volunteers participated to make the race, which included a Kid’s Fun Run, a costume contest, and lots of family friendly activities, a huge success! Many generous local restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and shops offered their time, tasty treats, and services to stock the post-race buffet and to provide prizes for contest winners.
The Run for Justice benefits the Fairfax Law Foundation – the charitable arm of the Fairfax Bar Association – and has raised over $60,000 for the Foundation’s many community and pro bono legal programs in past years. The ShounBach: Powers of Attorneys not only sponsored the event, but many members of our Firm were spotted volunteering passing out water for thirsty runners or racing for the finish line. Our very own Trish Palmer placed first in her age group and 5th overall with a time of 24:26. Way to go, Trish!!
Since 1975, ShounBach has served the Northern Virginia community. Our team brings over 200 years of combined legal experience and has grown to be one of Virginia’s largest family and estate law firms.
