The Northern Virginia divorce lawyers from ShounBach recently supported the 2014 Annual Valentine Project, which provides new books, journals, personal items and treats to young men and women residing at the Fairfax Girls’ and Boys’ Probation Houses on Valentine’s Day. The project is a joint effort coordinated by the Fairfax Law Foundation and the Fairfax Bar Association Paralegal Section.
Donations provided by ShounBach and other local organizations and businesses, allowed each young adult to receive a bag filled with various items and enjoy a special Valentine’s Day. Additional items were provided to facility administrators and teachers for use as incentives for the young men and women during their stay.
Previously, the Project was only offered at the Fairfax Girls’ Probation House. However, thanks to ongoing support from the community, this was the first year that the Project was expanded to include young men from the Fairfax Boys’ Probation House.
All of the recipients were extremely grateful for the bags they received, and many wrote heartfelt thank you letters. You can view these letters by visiting the Fairfax Bar website.
At ShounBach, we are proud to have supported this year’s Valentine Project and look forward to supporting more events that benefit our community and local residents.
