Hayden Lee, one of the Northern Virginia divorce lawyers at ShounBach, has recently been elected Treasurer of the Young Trial Lawyers Board of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association (VTLA). He was elected to serve in this role for the 2014-2015 term. This marked the first time in the group’s recent history that the position was contested. The Young Trial Lawyers Section is VTLA’s section for members who are under 36 years of age. The Virginia Trial Lawyers Association is a bar association that has been in existence for more than five decades. VTLA has about 2,200 members throughout Virginia. The organization conducts various types of activities, such as educating the public about the legal system, engaging in lobbying activities, conducting continuing legal education (CLE) seminars, providing other training opportunities for its members and more.
Attorney Lee is an experienced litigator who works diligently to help his clients reach successful case results through the court system. He is also highly skilled at helping clients negotiate and settle disputes outside of court. Some of his key focus areas have been child custody, child support, spousal support, and property division. Along with his VTLA involvement, Mr. Lee is also involved in various civic organizations. A couple of these include the Suffolk Law School Association of Metropolitan Washington and the UVaClub of Washington, D.C. He additionally performs pro bono work through the Legal Services of Northern Virginia and the Northern Virginia Pro Bono Law Center.
