Suellen K. Honeychuck, RP was selected to be a member of the Committee that recently formed the Paralegal Section of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.

Bob Shoun, Ed Walinsky and Phil Schwartz (of counsel) were recently named Virginia Super Lawyers®, an honor bestowed on the top 5% of practitioners. Hope Rosen was named a ‘rising star’ as one of the top attorneys under the age of 40.

At the annual Elections Meeting for the Fairfax Bar Association Paralegal Section on June 24th, three members of Shoun Bach’s staff were elected to serve on the Executive Committee. Jessica Mendez was elected Chair, Janice Day was elected Continuing Paralegal Education Coordinator, and Tina Fewell was elected Activities Coordinator.

Albert Bonin was appointed to the Executive Counsel of the Virginia Association of Collaborative Professionals and currently serves as Chair of their Outreach Committee. This Association is the largest group of collaborative professionals in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Grant Moher was appointed to the Executive Counsel of the Collaborative Professionals of Northern Virginia. He serves as their Membership Chair.

ShounBach has the largest number of attorneys in Northern Virginia practicing Collaborative Law.

Gerald Curran and Albert Bonin attended the American Academy of Matrimonial Law Management Program in Chicago, Illinois.

Edward Walinsky spoke at a ‘Second Saturday’ seminar given for attendees to learn about the divorce process. This seminar provides people with information to the legal, financial, real estate and psychological issues connected with divorce and separation.

Janice Day welcomed the attendees and introduced the first speaker at the FBA Seminar for support staff where legal assistant and paralegals learn the practical workings of the court system.
