Melissa S. Muniz, Paralegal

Ms. Muniz has been employed in the legal field since 1991, gaining experience as a paralegal in general litigation at both the Federal and state levels. Her background includes experience in the fields of family law and domestic relations, corporations, real estate, contracts, civil torts/personal injury, bankruptcy, zoning, and trust and estate law. In 1994, Ms. Muniz joined the firm of Shoun, Bach, Walinsky & Curran, P.C., and has since utilized her expertise exclusively in the field of family and domestic relations law, including the areas of equitable distribution of assets and liabilities, spousal and child support, and all aspects of discovery compilation and preparation.

Ms. Muniz is a graduate of the National Academy for Paralegal Studies, Inc. (Certificate, 1991). She attended the Atlantic Community College, Legal Assistant/Paralegal Education Program (ABA accredited), Northern Virginia Community College, American Institute for Paralegal Studies, San Antonio College, and Palo Alto College. She is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association (Paralegal Affiliate), the Fairfax Bar Association (Paralegal Section), the National Federation for Paralegal Associations, the National Capital Area Paralegal Association and the Virginia Alliance of Paralegal Associations.
