Janice L. Day, CP
Ms. Day has worked in the legal field since 2005 and in the area of domestic relations law since 2007, with a background in criminal law and civil law. She joined the team at Shoun, Bach, Walinsky & Curran, P.C. in 2007 and has since utilized her skills exclusively in the area of family and domestic relations law. She works primarily with Mr. Bonin and Mr. Moher.
Ms. Day graduated from James Madison University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Public Administration with a concentration in Criminal Justice and a minor in English. She completed her paralegal studies at Northern Virginia Community College in 2007.
She passed the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) Certified Paralegal/Certified Legal Assistant Exam (CP/CLA) and is qualified as one of approximately one of 14,965 paralegals nationwide certified as a “CP,” or certified paralegal.
Ms. Day is a member of the Paralegal Association of Northern Virginia (PANV); member of the Virginia Alliance of Paralegal Associations (VAPA); and a member of the Fairfax Bar Association Paralegal Section for which she has served as the Continuing Paralegal Education Chair and currently serves as the Activities Coordinator.

Tina M. Fewell, Paralegal
Ms. Fewell brings to our client base more than 22 years of
legal experience within the field of family law and domestic
relations. She works closely with Mr. Shoun and his clients
in virtually all aspects of the firm's representation,
including preparation, exchange, and analysis of discovery
materials; compilation of data and assimilation of financial
charts for negotiation and litigation purposes; asset
tracing; all phases of trial preparation; and implementing
post-divorce division of retirement, liquid and real
property assets.
Ms. Fewell is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers
Association (Paralegal Affiliate) and the Paralegal
Association of Northern Virginia (PANV). She has also been
an active member of the Fairfax Bar Association Paralegal
Section since its inception, currently serving as Secretary
and having formerly served as Vice Chair. As part of her
role with the Section, she is privileged to organize its
winter and spring social events and administers the majority
of its community projects. An active Fairfax Bar Association
affiliate member, Ms. Fewell has also volunteered her
services for a number of years to the Bar’s Law Related
Education Committee.
Ms. Fewell began employment with the firm in May of 1992.

Suellen K. Honeychuck, RP
Ms. Honeychuck has worked as a litigation paralegal since
1995 in domestic relations, consumer and landlord/tenant law
and white collar crime and fraud. She joined the paralegal
team at Shoun, Bach, Walinsky & Curran, P.C. in 2005 and has
since utilized her skills exclusively in the area of family
and domestic relations law, including equitable distribution
of assets and liabilities, preparation and analysis of
discovery materials, all phases of trial preparation, and
the implementation of post-divorce division of assets.
Ms. Honeychuck holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan
State University with a double major in criminal justice and
political science. Following graduation she joined the
United States Air Force and served as an Intelligence
Systems Officer until retiring in July 1995. Ms. Honeychuck
completed her paralegal studies at The George Washington
University in 1995.
She passed the National Federation of Paralegal
Associations' (NFPA) Paralegal Advanced Competence Exam
(PACE) in 2003, and is qualified as one of approximately 550
paralegals in the United States certified as an RP, or "PACE
Registered Paralegal."
Ms. Honeychuck is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers
Association (Paralegal Affiliate); member of the Fairfax Bar
Association and former chair of the Paralegal Section;
member and Secretary/Treasurer of the Paralegal Association
of Northern Virginia; former President of the National
Capital Area Paralegal Association; member of the Virginia
Alliance of Paralegal Associations; and member of the
National Federation of Paralegal Associations. She currently
serves as the NFPA PACE Coordinator for RP renewals.

Melissa S. Muniz, Paralegal
Ms. Muniz has been employed in the legal field since 1991, gaining experience as a paralegal in general litigation at both the Federal and state levels. Her background includes experience in the fields of family law and domestic relations, corporations, real estate, contracts, civil torts/personal injury, bankruptcy, zoning, and trust and estate law. In 1994, Ms. Muniz joined the firm of Shoun, Bach, Walinsky & Curran, P.C., and has since utilized her expertise exclusively in the field of family and domestic relations law, including the areas of equitable distribution of assets and liabilities, spousal and child support, and all aspects of discovery compilation and preparation.
Ms. Muniz is a graduate of the National Academy for Paralegal Studies, Inc. (Certificate, 1991). She attended the Atlantic Community College, Legal Assistant/Paralegal Education Program (ABA accredited), Northern Virginia Community College, American Institute for Paralegal Studies, San Antonio College, and Palo Alto College. She is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association (Paralegal Affiliate), the Fairfax Bar Association (Paralegal Section), the National Federation for Paralegal Associations, the National Capital Area Paralegal Association and the Virginia Alliance of Paralegal Associations.

Patricia C. Palmer, Paralegal
Ms. Palmer's experience as a paralegal includes the areas of securities, taxation, immigration, and domestic relations law. She joined the paralegal team at Shoun, Bach, Walinsky & Curran, P.C. in 2000, and has since applied her skills exclusively in the field of family and domestic relations law, including the areas of equitable distribution of assets and liabilities, spousal and child support, and compilation of discovery requests and responses (primarily Interrogatories and Requests for Production of Documents).
Ms. Palmer graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (“Virginia Tech”) in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. She is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association (Paralegal Affiliate) and the Fairfax Bar Association (Paralegal Section).

Melissa K. Rose, Paralegal
Ms. Rose brings to our client base 20 years of legal experience within the field of family law and domestic relations. She joined Shoun, Bach, Walinsky & Curran, P.C. as a paralegal in 2007. Her background includes expertise in all aspects of the compilation, preparation and analysis of discovery, all phases of trial preparation, and all areas of equitable distribution of assets and liabilities.
Ms. Rose graduated from Northern Virginia Community College in 1995 with an Associate’s Degree in Legal Assisting. She is a member of the Fairfax Bar Association (Paralegal Section).

Katherine Zouras, Law Office Administrator
Ms. Zouras is originally from Chicago, Illinois, where she
worked on the Chicago Board of Options Exchange and The
Midwest Stock Exchange for nine years. Following which she
was employed as an Office Manager for a large Chicago
restaurant chain. In the spring of 1994 she moved to Kansas
City, Missouri, where she worked as an Accounting Manager
for a real estate franchise sales office. During that time
she also held an elected seat on the Board of Directors of
her neighborhood association. In Fall 1999 she moved to
Northern Virginia and was employed as an Accounting &
Benefits Manager for a prominent law firm in the City of
Fairfax. Ms. Zouras joined the law firm of Shoun, Bach,
Walinsky & Curran, P.C., in November 2007.
Ms. Zouras' responsibilities include financial
administration, human resource management, benefits
management, systems management, technology management,
facilities management, and strategic planning.
