Ms. Garrett is a graduate of George Mason University (B.A. 1999)
and received her Juris Doctor from the Pace University School of
Law, in White Plains, New York (J.D. 2002). She is admitted to practice
law in Virginia and the United States District Court for the Eastern District
of Virginia.
Since being admitted to the bar, Ms. Garrett’s practice has focused solely
on domestic relations and family law. Ms. Garrett represents clients in the
Circuit Courts and Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Courts in
the Northern Virginia area. She has extensive experience in the litigation
of child custody, visitation and support issues; spousal support; equitable
distribution of assets and liabilities and the negotiation and preparation
of martial agreements and property settlement agreements.
She is an active member of the American Bar Association, the Virginia
Bar Association, the Fairfax County Bar Association (where she is a
member of the Family Law Section and a committee member of the Juvenile
and Domestic Relations District Court Committee) the Arlington
County Bar Association and the Virginia Women’s Attorneys Association.
