Attorney Sarah Knapp Has Been Elected Secretary of the Prince William County Bar Association

ShounBach is proud to announce that Attorney Sarah J. Knapp has been elected Secretary of the Prince William County Bar Association (PWCBA) in Manassas, Virginia. Knapp has been involved in the PWCBA since becoming a Law Clerk in Prince William Circuit Court in 2011. She has continued to remain active in the Association, volunteering for charity events and attending Association functions since she joined ShounBach in 2013. Her dedication to the Association has resulted in her being named Secretary.

The Prince William County Bar Association was established in 1941 and is a voluntary, professional, non-profit organization dedicated to providing services and benefits to its members and to the local community. The mission of the Association is "to maintain the honor and dignity of the practice of law, promote the administration of justice, encourage the professionalism and collegiality of its members, and contribute to the quality of life in the community." The PWCBA seeks to fulfill this mission through administration of justice, education, liaison, fellowship, public relations, and lawyer discipline.

Attorney Knapp demonstrates a high level of dedication in everything she puts her mind to, which makes her election to Secretary an exciting though not surprising honor. Knapp graduated magna cum laude with double majors from Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island before graduating in the top third of her class from George Mason University School of Law. She began her legal career as the judicial law clerk for the Honorable William D. Hamblen (Ret.) of the Prince William County Circuit Court, beginning her involvement with the PWCBA at the same time. Ms. Knapp is currently a member of the Virginia State Bar and the Prince William County Bar Association.
